It is not signed at all from the short term carpark and as a woman arriving at 11pm with no indication of where to go was scary. apart from the price of the room it was vastly over priced. Not enough towels, had to eat buffet/ the distrance to hotel fromplane too long. clinical ambiance, no family room offered. hotel layout, rooms/lifts not sign posted. Try arriving by National Express coach for example. The notice boards for access through the pedestrian link are very sparse if you approach the hotel from anything other than a very close proximity - I spent twenty minute sin and out of remote car parks trying to find the right level. Lights etc in room very confusing until you are used to them. Duvet was very hot and made the night a bit uncomfotable. Did not complain as had early flight to catch. water would not derain from sink and toilet ceased to flush. Spa prices / sauna etc too expensive, and selection of restaurants/food is limited. Breakfast expensive, but there were options available in Terminal 5. ![]() Prices of drinks in bar were on the high side. Hot water in bathroom was not really hot. Food was very expensive - as you would expect for a five star hotel. There are not enough information/indicative signs from airport hubto the hotel. Lots and lots of marble, maybe too much, a bit sterile. They also did not have 3 of the choices we made from the menu. price of food was high and the service in the restaurant was very slow. Difficult to find on arrival at Terminal 5, not obvious where it is is if you go in main entrance, sign misleading. Unfortunately only 1 of 3 resturants operating on sunday evening and with 1 hour to go many choices not available. proximity to T5, nice room although overpriced for that area (a lot of other htls close to Heathrow at 1/2 price). This is a five plus star hotel providing appropriate quality of service and was an ideal link for early flight conncections the next day. Location to airport and no need to get a bus transfer. Excellent room, quiet and peaceful, given the location. Cafetiere coffee and ironing facilities within the room. The proximity to terminal 5.The very helpful staff who were efficient, polite and extremely friendly. The hotel and restaurants were excellent.
